    • Job Requirements

  • Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri)
  • Required Certifications : BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
  • Years of Experience : 3 years Cardiac and / or Medical ICU, CVI experience of recovering open hearts directly from the OR
  • Must Have Skills / Experience : 3 years Cardiac Medical ICU, inpatient only
  • Preferred Skillset / Experience : experience with medical ICU patients, cardiac emphasis (arrhythmias, STEMI, post arrest)

  • Shift : Nights, 1900-0730
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 – must be indicated on submission form
  • Weekend Hours : As required by facility / every other weekend

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Number of Beds : 22
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 2
  • Equipment : Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun
  • EMR : EPIC

    • Additional Details

  • Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
  • Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
  • Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
  • Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
  • Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
