Responsibilities Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting focusing on circulating, monitoring, and moderate sedation 4x10 hour day shifts, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM On-call required every 4th weekend and two weekdays during non-call weekends, averaging 10 on-call days per month May provide coverage for multiple hospital sites as needed Structured heart and endovascular procedures are performed Phillips and McKesson technology and EMR are used Epic EHR experience is preferred Must be able to respond to STEMI call backs within 30 minutes Coordinates and evaluates patient care with an interdisciplinary team Performs assessments, creates care plans, administers medication, and coordinates patient education Functions independently in both scrub nurse and circulator roles Acts as a key contact for patient and family care coordination across departments Holiday and after-hours coverage required per call rotation 50-mile residence radius rule applies for travel eligibility Scrub attire must be worn as per department policy Study guide provided in advance for required exams and testing Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required Current BLS required; ACLS preferred At least 1 year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR required Dysrhythmia exam required; study guide provided Must pass EKG testing on first day (2 attempts allowed) Experience with Cath Lab procedures preferred Experience with Phillips and McKesson systems preferred Critical Care Course, Epic, and advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, CCRN, PCCN, NIH Stroke, RCIS, RCES) are preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639843.
