Job descriptionBachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering (or related field) 10+ years of M / E construction management experience preferred Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills Proficient in MS Office, scheduling tools, BIM, and construction management software Ability to manage budgets, lead teams, and ensure project quality and profitability
The Senior Mechanical / Electrical Engineer provides leadership and technical expertise across estimating, design review, scheduling, and commissioning on major commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities
- Develop detailed M / E estimates and perform systems analysis and value engineering
- Review design documents and identify quality or constructability issues
- Coordinate M / E scopes through bid, buyout, and construction phases
- Oversee commissioning process, including checklists, testing, and documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and support continuous process improvement
- Negotiate subcontracts and equipment purchases
- Build and maintain client relationships; support business development efforts
