Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics – Required Completion of an approved dietetic internship or equivalent experience – Required Registered Dietitian (or eligible; must obtain within 1 year) – Required Licensed Dietitian in Oregon – Required Current driver’s license – Required Oregon Food Handler, Food Manager, or ServSafe Certification – Required within 30 days of hire Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with computer systems, calculators, and standard office equipment Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients as needed Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance Scenic, low-traffic commute Housing options available only a 30-min commute away Union position with competitive hourly pay Opportunities to grow your expertise in clinical nutrition
Job Description
Clinical Dietitian
Location : Coos Bay, OR
Shift : Days, 10 hours | 4 x 10-hour shifts
Pay : $29.00 – $39.00 / hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team, providing nutrition support and care to patients and staff across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian who values patient-centered care and a scenic work environment.
What You’ll Do :
- Provide clinical nutrition support, education, and guidance to patients and staff
- Assist with patient ambulation and transfers as needed
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team
- Adhere to safety standards, including standard precautions and proper body mechanics
Qualifications :
Preferred certifications : Certified Diabetic Educator, Certified Oncology Nutrition Specialist, Certified Nutrition Support Specialist
Minimum Experience : 3 years of experience in clinical or community nutrition
