About The Position

Job Title : General Ultrasound Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1.5 years required

License : Must have

Certifications : BLS & ARDMS

Must-Have :

• Experience with charting in Cerner
• Available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Open to discussing block scheduling
• Local candidates accepted

Description :

The General Ultrasound Tech will perform various ultrasound examinations.

Experience in first, second, and third trimester obstetrics is required.

Knowledge of abdominal, vascular, and other ultrasound imaging is necessary.

Candidates must demonstrate expertise in standard ultrasound procedures.

Experience with Doppler studies, guided biopsies, and fluid aspirations is preferred.

Flexibility to work in different settings within the facility is essential.

The technician will interact with patients across diverse age groups.

Adeptness in patient care and maintaining a safe environment is critical.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected.

Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective patient interactions.

Candidates will ensure compliance with safety and quality care standards.

Professionalism and adherence to facility policies are mandatory.

The role will not require on-call duties.

Candidates must have all required certifications in hand before commencing work.
