Description :

Contract position for an RN in a Telemetry unit.

The shift is from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.

No on-call requirements.

The unit has 34 beds.

Patient ratios are 1 : 6.

Staffing includes :

Equipment includes Welch Allyn Vital Signs and GE Telemetry Monitoring.

The electronic medical record system used is MediTech.

Ideal candidates are outgoing and team-oriented.

Basic Life Support certification is required.

Preferred qualifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support and TNCC certification.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include wound vacs and external fixation bracing.

Dress code requires navy scrubs.

Recognitions include awards for outstanding staff and departmental achievements.
