As a Security Officer - Armed Site Patrol in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a retail setting. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Tue 12 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Wed 12 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Thur 12 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment for an armed post.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity.

Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by site protocols.

Work collaboratively with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other criminal activity within the retail environment.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Level III Armed Certification for Texas required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
