Brief Overview :

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Med / Surg 8 Unit at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center West Bank Campus in Minneapolis, MN.

The Med / Surg RN will provide care to medical surgical adult patients with medical conditions that require close observation, monitoring, and interventions. Are you ready for every day to be different and exciting with a wide range of patient population experiences?

We are conveniently located on the West Bank of the Mississippi River near downtown Minneapolis.

Schedule : This position will be working 0.6 FTE (48 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the Night shift with an every 3rdweekend rotation (F,S,S) and a holiday rotation.

About Our Med Surg 8 Department at the UMMC West Bank :

• Our unit is comprised of 24 Beds.

Care Delivery : 4-5 patient assignment. 5-6 patient assignment on Night Shift.

Sepsis

The RN is responsible and accountable for patient assessment, analysis, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention application, and the identification and evaluation of outcomes for patients of all ages and populations. The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act :
