If you're a hands-on civil engineering technician with about two years of experience—and big ambitions to become a Professional Engineer—this role will give you the project exposure, mentorship, and real-world problem-solving that shape strong engineers. You'll work closely with licensed engineers on a wide variety of land development projects, gaining the field knowledge and practical experience that every future P.E. needs. Our project portfolio is broad and dynamic : substantial subdivisions, large commercial sites, warehouses, auto dealerships, gravel pits, and even smaller residential driveway designs. You’ll see firsthand how engineering decisions translate into real-world results. What You’ll Do Support civil engineers with fieldwork, site observations, data collection, and project documentation. Assist with site layouts, grading checks, utility locations, stormwater features, and construction progress verification. Collaborate with engineers and environmental professionals to understand design intent and field constraints. Maintain accurate records, measurements, notes, and photos to support engineering plans. Help ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. What You Bring Around 2 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or related fieldwork. Interest in pursuing a P.E. license and growing within the engineering profession. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn from both field and office perspectives. Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and communicate clearly with project teams. A valid driver’s license.
