Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position : Full-time, onsite and open to virtual

Dates : ASAP June 2026

Overview :

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year! This is a full-time, onsite role serving students in grades 35 across assigned school buildings. The district is specifically looking for a candidate certified in the Wilson Reading System .

Responsibilities :

Lead instruction in a self-contained elementary special education classroom

Implement IEPs and document student progress

Provide individualized academic and behavioral support

Modify curriculum and instructional materials as needed

Qualifications :

Valid Special Education Teaching License for the state of Massachusetts

Wilson Reading System Certification

Experience working with elementary students preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
