Job descriptionShift Description : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 AM (24-hour shifts) with in-house rounding and out-of-house call Weekend Requirements : Yes On Call Requirements : Yes General rounding and patient care responsibilities followed by on-call duties Providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans Managing critical care procedures and interventions as needed Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records using EMR systems Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process Active South Carolina License and DEA - REQUIRED Board Certification in Pediatric Intensive Care - REQUIRED ACLS, NRP Certification - REQUIRED Availability for urgent shifts listed in the job description - REQUIRED Clean Background - REQUIRED PICU Beds / Peds : 6 beds, 2 observation beds EMR Systems : Meditech and Medimobile Average Daily Census : 4.3 admissions (2023) Annual Births : 2,800 Daily Patient Load : 2-4 patients per day Subspecialty Backup Onsite : Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric GI Surgery, Neonatology Services Remote Pediatric Cardiology Support Certification Requirements : ACLS, Board Certified, DEA, NRP State License Requirements : South Carolina Additional License Requirements : Standard Pediatric Intensivist Certification
