Requirements

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for decontamination, assembly of linen packs, operation of steam, ETO and other forms of sterilization. The Sterile Processing Technician maintains adequate inventory for assembly of instruments and equipment and performs multiple tasks that assist in the daily operation of all units as well as being responsible for customer service.

Acts as a custodian of the Central Processing and Operative Services inventory (Surgical both purchased and cosigned) which consists of re-usable, disposable and patient charge supplies.

Requirements

10+ years of SPT experience

BLS (AHA)

Must be willing to float between both Cambridge and Everett Hospital as needed

Must be a nationally certified tech (CRCST)

Flue required by start dates

Religious or medical exemptions possible

Covid vaccine not required - declination accepted
