We're seeking a Survey Project Manager who combines technical expertise with leadership and business development skills. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on precision, progress, and building strong client relationships.
As a Survey Project Manager, you'll manage projects from start to finish-developing scopes, schedules, and budgets-while also driving growth through proposals, negotiations, and client engagement. You'll lead and mentor both office and field teams, ensuring quality and efficiency across all deliverables.
What You'll Do :
- Successfully manage projects, including scope, schedule, and fee development.
- Balance workload and resources across multiple projects.
- Lead business development efforts, including proposal preparation and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact.
- Handle complex technical and interpersonal challenges with sound judgment.
- Apply extensive knowledge of land surveying practices to deliver innovative solutions.
- Supervise and mentor project teams on projects of varying size and complexity.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution : client meetings, team communication, budget monitoring, progress tracking, and A / R collections.
- Provide technical, design, and project management expertise.
- Stay active in professional organizations and maintain a strong industry network.
What You Need :
Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license or ability to obtain quickly if licensed in another state.2+ years of post-licensure experience.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD / Civil3D.Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.What Will Make You Stand Out :
