LocumJobsOnline is working with VieMed Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Cardiothoracic Surgery PA in Lafayette, Louisiana, 70503!

VHS is looking for a qualified Physicians Assistant - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit.

Description : Looking for Full Time Locums APP.

Team Structure

2 Cardiovascular Surgeons

3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Procedures Performed

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)

Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS)

Thoracotomies

Lobectomies

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Repairs

Arterial Bypasses

Aortic Valve Replacements

Responsibilities

Inpatient rounding

Surgical consults

Emergency Room call coverage

Clinic 1 day / week. ( 15-20 post op patients)

Program Volume

Approximately 90 surgeries / procedures per month

  • 1099 Pay Rate : Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request)
  • Certification Requirements : Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application.
