Scrum Master

Job Summary :

The Scrum Master facilitates agile / scrum processes for development teams. This role ensures adherence to Scrum practices, removes obstacles, cultivates a high-performing team, and drives continuous improvement and value delivery to stakeholders.

Location : Linthicum Heights, Maryland, United States

Responsibilities :

• Serve as a servant-leader and coach to Agile development teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, review, retrospective).
• Help the team maintain the sprint backlog, manage velocity, and deliver commitments.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
• Foster collaboration among product owners, developers, testers, and stakeholders.
• Support the product owner in maintaining the product backlog, prioritization, and refinement.
• Track and report team metrics (burndown, velocity, cycle time).
• Promote continuous improvement and agile best practices.
• Shield the team from distractions and help manage dependencies.
• Facilitate cross-team coordination and integration.
• Support the adoption of agile across the program / organization.
