Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,701 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title : Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Medical Surgical Float Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : - First-timers accepted - Must have experience in Med-Surg - Ability to manage a patient ratio of 6 : 1 Description : This position is for a Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse. The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts each week. Weekend coverage is required every other week. Holiday rotation is also required. The nurse will float to Medical Surgical floors as needed. Patient ratios may vary based on the assigned unit. Candidates with at least two years of experience are required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The nurse must hold a valid South Carolina RN license or a compact state license. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory. The facility operates as a Level I Trauma Center and offers a collaborative interdisciplinary support system. Travelers must be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers should confirm they can commit to the assignment during this season. All RTO (Request Time Off) is required at the time of submission. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The candidate must be fully compliant with pre-start requirements before beginning the assignment. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. No call requirement for this position.
