Job descriptionWork in a hospital-based vascular ultrasound department Adult patient population Perform 8-12 vascular exams per day including carotid, venous, reflux venous, vessel mapping, arterial duplex (upper / lower), abdominal, aortic iliac, renal artery, mesenteric, hepatoportal, and hemodialysis mapping Operate Philips ultrasound equipment Day shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM No weekends, on-call, or floating required during this assignment Holiday coverage as scheduled Responsibilities include independently performing all required vascular ultrasound exams and procedural documentation First-time travelers accepted Holiday coverage according to department needs No floating required for this assignment Scrub attire per hospital policy CPI certification may be required as part of compliance Return travelers must have been absent from the system for at least 6 months, and former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as a traveler RTO must be included at initial submission and cannot be changed or added after offer, and should not exceed 7 days Block scheduling or specific shift restrictions cannot be guaranteed Minimum of 2 years experience as a vascular ultrasound tech Current BLS certification required (AHA only) Either ARDMS-RVT or CCI RVS certification required Active MD or Compact License required at time of consideration (license required if applicable) Must provide two satisfactory professional references from recent employers (including one supervisor or manager and one charge RN) Comfortable performing a full range of vascular ultrasound procedures Must live at least 50 miles from the facility High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
