Job Title : Test Engineer

Location : Manitowoc, Wisconsin, United States

Contract : 6-12 months

No Benefits

Role Summary

Experience :

25 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong electrical background required; mechanical aptitude is helpful.
Experience designing or working with test fixtures and hardware components.

Technical Skills :

LabVIEW experience is a strong plus; any programming knowledge (C or Python) is beneficial.

Previous test engineering experience with LabVIEW is a major advantage but not required.

No need for specialized PCB or shaker testing background.

Testing Focus :

Functional testing and high-potential (hipot) testing.

Safety feature testing and output verification.

Electrical and mechanical test setup and execution.

Ability to design or modify simple test fixtures.

Helpful to have experience reviewing or updating test-related documentation and code.

Cross-Team Support :

Will support testing across a variety of device types.

Strong ability to perform code reviews is highly valued.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Perform electrical testing on the product (not product design).

Set up and execute functional, safety, and high-potential tests.

Build or modify basic fixturing for test setups.

Review documentation, test code, and related procedures.

Support testing needs for multiple device types.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accuracy and safety in test execution.
