Travel - Special Procedures / Angio / IR Tech

Weekly Gross Pay : $2416 - $2616

Location : Atlanta, GA, United States

Start date : 01-05-2026

Assignment length : 8 Weeks weeks

Minimum years of experience : 2 - previous travel experience is not required

Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech - Atlanta, GA

Shift : Days 4x10 (7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM)

Position Highlights

  • 1+ year IR experience required | Must be willing to float to Cath & EP
  • Certifications : ARRT(R) required | ARRT(VI) & ACLS preferred | BLS
  • Skills :

Venous access (ports, PICCs, central lines)

Angiography, embolization, angioplasty, stenting

Biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy, drain placements

IVC filter placement, TIPS, GU interventions, RFA, radioembolization

Neuro : carotid angiography, thrombectomy, vertebroplasty

Cath / EP crossover : PTCA, stents, hemo monitoring, EKG lead placement

  • Work Settings : IR Suite (12-24 cases / day), plus Cath & EP support
  • Systems : Epic (required) | Philips & Siemens equipment | PACS
  • Float : Required - IR → Cath → EP
  • Call : 1 weekday of call per week + 1 weekend every 6 weeks
  • Weekends : Call only
  • Experience : First-time travelers accepted
  • Interdisciplinary Support : RRT, IV Team, Lift Team, Pharmacy, RRT, Transport
  • Compliance : Strict - must meet full requirements to avoid start delay
  • Locals : Accepted (same rate)
