Position Summary
We're hiring an Outside Sales Representative with proven B2B sales and outside sales experience in the equipment rental industry. In this high-impact role, you'll be responsible for selling pumps, filtration systems, and fluid-handling equipment, managing a defined territory, and building long-term client relationships. If you have experience in equipment rentals and thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driven sales environment, this role is for you.
Location : 755 W Sunset Rd., Henderson, NV (Supporting the Las Vegas territory)
Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. (with flexibility as needed) Compensation : Competitive salary + commission, based on experience
Key Responsibilities of an Outside Sales Representative
- Prospect and close new business while expanding existing customer accounts
- Promote CPE's rental equipment-including pumps and filtration systems-to commercial, industrial, and municipal clients
- Manage the full sales cycle : cold calling, quoting, site visits, presentations, and contract negotiation
- Conduct 60+ in-person customer and prospect visits weekly
- Submit 15+ equipment rental quotes per week and maintain a detailed quote pipeline
- Conduct weekly equipment demos (Tow-n-Shows) and monthly customer Lunch & Learns
- Provide consistent follow-up, weekly sales reporting, and active call tracking
- Host and participate in sales blitzes focused on target accounts and territories
- Stay active in trade associations and attend monthly networking events and trade shows
- Support after-hours / emergency sales calls to ensure customer satisfaction and uptime
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including branch managers and operations teams
- Maintain a well-branded company vehicle stocked with up-to-date sales collateral
What You'll Bring as an Outside Sales Representative
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred5+ years of B2B sales experience in rental equipment, industrial services, or construction equipmentSpecific experience selling pumps, filtration systems, or related equipment is strongly preferredStrong consultative sales and relationship management skillsProven ability to meet and exceed revenue targetsProficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft OfficeValid driver's license with a clean driving recordSelf-motivated, organized, and able to manage a territory independentlyWhat We Offer
