Assignment Highlights Location : Okeene, Oklahoma Specialty : Emergency Medicine – Nurse Practitioner Contract Type : Locum Tenens (PRN coverage) Trauma Designation : Level IV Trauma Center ER Beds : 3 Patient Volume : ~4 patients per day on average Staffing Model : 2 Family Practice physicians available as backup EMR : Epic Scope of Practice Provide direct emergency care across all ages Manage admissions and transfers using established protocols Perform OB protocol when indicated Order and interpret labs and imaging (24 / 7 onsite access) Collaborate with physicians for backup and escalation Complete documentation in Epic Candidate Requirements Active Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner license Current ACLS & PALS certifications required Prior Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred Comfortable working independently with physician support Professional appearance required : business attire with lab coat or neat scrubs (scrubs not provided) Why This Opportunity?
