Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resectionsCervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeriesHemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patientsHigh volume of cervical and spinal surgery patientsWhat You'll Do :

Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.Recognize significant changes in patient condition and respond promptly.Implement safety strategies and assess patient readiness to learn.Coordinate discharge plans using an interdisciplinary approach.Support shared governance and participate in quality improvement initiatives.Maintain effective communication and promote collaboration.Participate in professional development activities.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Ability to provide holistic patient care and recognize situational changes.Proficient computer skills including electronic medical records.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to make critical decisions and work collaboratively.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
