Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized therapy services within a middle school setting. This contract opportunity runs from January 15th, 2026, through May 29th, 2026, and involves working full-time hours, Monday through Friday.
Location :
Latrobe, PAResponsibilities :
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students in grades 5 through 7, addressing diverse communication needs.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a caseload of approximately 60-65 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications :
- Valid SLP certification or licensure appropriate for school settings.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in middle school environments.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly impacting students aged 10-13.
- Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently while providing high-quality interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule and Compensation :
- Contract duration : January 15th to May 29th, 2026
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Five days per week, Monday through Friday
- Competitive pay rate starting at $45 / hr
