Engineering Technical Analyst Job Description

Position Summary :

TPWR is seeking an Engineering Technical Analyst to join TPWR’s team in Midland, Texas. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who can be both a self-starter, and a team player while using excellent communication skills in a dynamic environment

Job Role

Assist with hands-on project planning and engineering for all phases of water- related projects to include the following : job specific planning and support, economic analysis, tracking and analyzing operational execution and performances

Preparation of technical and professional reports with associated analysis for presentations

Develop models to support project management, planning, and pre and post job financial analysis

Gather data from multiple sources and compile into actional data sets including utilizing visualization software such as Spotfire or Power BI

Education

Bachelors degree in the following : Geosciences, Earth Sciences, Water Resources, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, OR 5+ years experience in lieu of listed bachelors degrees

Skills

General understanding and familiarity of water management, including municipal water planning, oil-field water sourcing, or aquifer management experience

Exceptional time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-changing environment

Microsoft Office Suite experience required

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Requirements : Education-
