Minimum 1+ years radiation therapy experience required.
A leading cancer center in Memphis, TN is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Medical Physicist (ABR) to join its collaborative radiation oncology team. This clinical role offers hands-on experience with radiation therapy planning , equipment QA , and advanced oncology technologies in a cutting-edge facility.
Position Overview
Lead treatment planning, simulations, and dose calculations
Perform QA, calibration, and missioning of LINACs, CT simulators, and HDR units
Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists to ensure safe patient care
Ensure pliance with NRC, AAPM, and state radiation safety standards
Support performance improvement and innovation in clinical physics
Qualifications
Masters in Medical Physics or related field
ABR Board-Eligible (required); Board-Certified (preferred)
2+ years of clinical experience in radiation oncology preferred
Proficiency with Eclipse or other TPS, QA tools, and radiation safety protocols
BLS certification (or within 14 days of hire)
