Jr Project Engineer Technical Support Specialist, Lyra Technology Group

Lyra Technology Group is looking for a full-time Jr Project Engineer Technical Support Specialist, to join the team at one of our operating companies, DKBinnovative, in Frisco, TX. The Jr Project Engineer Technical Support Specialist will oversee small-scale projects and perform Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD) tasks for our diverse client base. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality service. Ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent, dependable support is key to success in this position.

Your work as the Jr Project Engineer Technical Support Specialist, includes several components :

  • Manage the full lifecycle of small-scale projects, ensuring delivery aligns with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Execute MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletes) tasks, including hardware / software installation and configuration.
  • Partner with clients to evaluate technology needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, status updates, and communication records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to project execution.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
  • Support the design and implementation of IT infrastructure and solutions.
  • Track project milestones and adjust work plans to stay on target.
  • Maintain adherence to industry standards, internal policies, and client requirements.
  • Deliver end-user training and facilitate knowledge transfer upon project completion.

Our ideal Jr Project Engineer Technical Support Specialist, has the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in the MSP industry, with a focus on IT project management and technical support.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.
  • Proficient in industry-standard technologies and platforms. (e.g., Windows Server, Microsoft 365, virtualization technologies)
  • Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred, but not required certifications :
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Fundamentals (or equivalent)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • The targeted base compensation for this role is $60,000-$70,000 per year and will operate out of the Frisco, TX office on a hybrid basis.
