Pharmacy Technician

Details :

Location : 100% onsite in Tempe, AZ in a closed-door specialty pharmacy setting

Schedule : Monday-Friday 6 : 00am – 2 : 30pm (occasional OT)

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

The pay for this position is $18.50-21.50 per hour (based on experience)

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Enter new patient prescriptions and demographics accurately into the data processing system
• Process prescription exceptions and resolve related issues efficiently
• Communicate with physician offices and patients to obtain necessary information and ensure prescription accuracy
• Provide pharmacist call-back and patient quality assurance support
• Manage new patient and referral imaging folders, ensuring all documents are properly indexed and filed
• Load insurance plans and coordinate benefits for new patients and referrals
• Review and audit test claims to ensure claim accuracy and eligibility
• Handle reorder processing and coordinate related email communications
• Maintain organized image indexing, AE report filing, and other documentation
• Offer primary support and expertise for specialized pharmacy programs such as ETT or Pharma initiatives
• Perform responsibilities related to programs requiring special handling or support for specific disease states
• Execute other registered or licensed responsibilities as required by state regulations or professional judgment
