Position Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) team in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing patients requiring close monitoring and complex care interventions. The position involves applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in a dynamic and collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities : Provide direct and individualized nursing care based on patient assessment. Administer IVs, medications, and treatments accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to appropriate healthcare providers. Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team members. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery processes. Accurately document nursing actions and patient outcomes in line with regulatory and policy requirements. Respond promptly and professionally to urgent situations or changes in patient status. Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment. Actively support department goals, quality assurance programs, and professional development efforts. Participate in staff mentoring, orientation, and team-building initiatives.
