The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University seeks a fellowship‑trained, board‑certified or board‑eligible orthopaedic surgeon with a medical doctorate specializing in orthopaedic sports medicine. The candidate should have a desire to help build a women's sports medicine program. Expertise in hip arthroscopy is a plus. The successful applicant will join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Assistant or Associate rank on the University Medical Line (UML) or in the Clinician Educator (CE) Line.
Academic rank and line will be determined by qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Responsibilities include providing surgical and non‑surgical care for orthopaedic patients, producing scholarly work in the candidate’s major areas of interest, and teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students. The candidate must be eligible for a California Medical License.
