Accounting Manager - Construction

Location : Crossville, TN

Pay : $50,000-$60,000 per year (depending on experience)

Job Type : Full-Time About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in the construction industry. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing financial tasks from start to finish. Experience and understanding of QuickBooks, job costing, progress billing, and construction-specific financial processes is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities :

• Handle daily accounting tasks (AP / AR, payroll, general ledger).
• Manage job costing and ensure accurate project expense tracking.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Reconcile all bank, credit card, and vendor accounts.
• Maintain records for retainage, subcontractors, and lien waivers.
• Support budgeting and cash flow management.
• File sales / use tax and other required reports.
• Provide financial updates to project managers and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP.
• Supervise and support accounting staff.
• Coordinate with CPA during audits and tax preparation.
