Description :

TRAVEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR MS / TELE RN.

The position will float between units as needed.

Weekends may be required based on unit needs.

Block schedules are not required.

The expected patient ratios are 1 : 6.

Special requirements include post-operative management, blood administration, and wound vac management.

The facility is a Short-Term Acute Care hospital.

Total staffed beds are 379.

It is a Level II Trauma Center.

The department dress code for licensed nursing personnel is solid navy blue scrub attire.

Print tops are not acceptable except in specified areas.

Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces.

Patient Age Groups : Adults

Daily Census : 28

Unit details include interdisciplinary support from various services.

Common patient diagnoses include orthopedic trauma cases, fractures, amputations, and more.

Special procedures may involve blood administration and phlebotomy by nursing staff.

This is a surgical unit with post-operative care management.

Prevention of pressure injuries is also a focus of the unit.

Special equipment includes wound vacs, traction devices, and high-flow oxygen systems.

Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities.

The refusal to float may result in assignment termination.

If required, communication devices needed for duties will be provided at no cost.

Providers must submit monthly cell phone bills directly for reimbursement if applicable.
