This Opportunity WSP is currently seeking a

Communications and Public Involvement Manager . This role will report to either our

Ocoee, Florida

Pompano Beach, Florida

office of Florida's Turnpike Enterprise. The successful candidate will lead our team working on the Turnpike program, supporting and guiding public involvement, outreach, and communications efforts. You will join a talented group of WSP communications professionals supporting the Turnpike program. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our national team of communications experts. As part of WSP’s Communications Advisory Services, you may work on various infrastructure projects across the Southeast. You will leverage your skills in public outreach, project coordination, and communication techniques to support our team and clients. Your Responsibilities

Lead communications and public involvement on large transportation projects. Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering collaboration and high-quality deliverables. Develop and implement public outreach strategies and plans for high-profile projects. Attend construction meetings to stay informed of project issues. Create information materials such as fact sheets, presentations, and graphics. Coordinate with project managers on construction-related information. Respond to inquiries from the public via phone and written communication. Act as a liaison between projects and the community, especially in active construction zones. Plan and execute public outreach campaigns and events. Manage social media content and project web pages. Support business development through proposal writing and marketing materials. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Required Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. 7-10 years of experience in communications or public engagement. Experience with transportation projects and public involvement. Proven ability to deliver work on time and within scope and budget. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work with diverse audiences and teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools. Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Experience with Florida Department of Transportation projects. Knowledge of AP style and bilingual in Spanish. Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite. About WSP
