Supervisor : Lower School Division Head

Position Status : This position is a salaried, exempt, full-time, regular, 10-month position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching experience at the elementary level; advanced degree preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of :
• Current best practices in literacy instruction
• Georgia Math Standards
• Awareness of instructional strategies, curriculum development and assessment techniques
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to experience and a strong educational background, successful candidates demonstrate a love of working with children, an engaging teaching style, the ability to interact well with parents and colleagues, and a willingness to create and promote an inclusive learning environment.
