Summary of Job Duties
The Microbiome & Bacterial Immunology Laboratory in the Department of Animal Science investigates the host–microbiome interface in livestock, with a focus on bacterial translocation from the gut to low-microbial-load tissues, host immune responses, and strategies to reduce antibiotic dependence.
We are seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to support molecular biology, microbiome analysis, bacterial isolation / culture, and immunology-based workflows.
Prior experience in molecular biology or microbiome research is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
