Job Description

Join the Ecosystem and Organizational Risk (EOR) team as a Senior Director for our Product Development group. We’re a Value Add Services Technology function dedicated to safeguarding the security and integrity of the payment ecosystem. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy, design, and deployment of risk programs and adapting them as the payment and threat landscapes evolve. The position requires a collaborative leader, who can work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver these programs and ensure they align with Visa’s business strategy and its growth.

Essential Functions

• Partner with Product teams on planning, requirements and prioritization. Influence product strategy and roadmap.
• Drive the design, implementation, and deployment of secure, reliable, robust and interoperable products. Lead with a GenAI-First mindset and incorporate GenAI through the entire SSDL.
• Drive excellence in engineering practices across the SSDLC, including use of GenAI tools.
• Build and lead a high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary team of software developers, data engineers, test engineers.
• Develop and nurture the engineering team by hiring critical talent, driving retention, motivating, and mentoring staff, and driving career growth for team members. Build an inclusive team culture, and a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Technology & Business.
• Demonstrate deep business acumen, to be able to effectively partner with Product and influence product strategy and direction.
• Drive strategic impact for EOR by delivering fit‑for‑purpose products with an accelerated time to market.
• Ensure strong program management and governance practices for your team.
• Role model Visa Leadership Principles (VLPs)

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week with a general guidepost of being in the office 50+% of the time based on business needs.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 229,000.00 to 357,950.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA / HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
