We ask that candidates be board certified or board eligible in pediatric emergency medicine or emergency medicine. A qualified individual will have excellent oral and written skills, advanced problem solving skills, and outstanding presentation skills. The ability to work in a team environment is a must.

El Paso Children's Hospital is staffed by board certified pediatric emergency medicine doctors, nurses and specialists trained in children's emergency medicine. Over 75 top-ranked pediatric specialists are available for consult. There are 24 / 7 respiratory therapists, and dedicated clinical pharmacists as well. The facility also has child life specialists and social workers.
