Travel Nurse RN - Transplant - $2,347 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Transplant Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 hours (08 : 30 - 17 : 00) Experience : Minimum of 2 years in pediatric pre / post liver transplant, small bowel transplant, and hepatology License : Must have DC RN licensure in hand upon application Certifications : BLS Must-Have : - 2 years of experience in pediatric transplantation and hepatology - Completion of prior travel assignment required Description : This role involves working in an outpatient clinic that specializes in pediatric pre / post liver and small bowel transplant as well as hepatology. Registered Nurses provide support with patient care coordination needs, including labs and imaging. Responsibilities include phone triage and communication with the multi-disciplinary team. No on-call or weekend responsibilities are required. Holiday coverage may be necessary as needed. Candidates must have a valid nursing license and required certifications upon application. Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions allowed. Two supervisor references are necessary for this position. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with specific charting systems is preferred.
