Job Summary : As an HR Generalist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the full associate life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while serving as a trusted resource for HR-related inquiries. Reporting to the Field HR team, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences. While candidates from all locations are welcome to apply, those residing within 60 miles of a Wipfli office may be given additional consideration due to occasional in-person collaboration opportunities.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Serve as a first point of contact for associate HR inquiries, offering guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Facilitate onboarding processes, including orientation and training coordination.
- Manage I-9 employment eligibility verification and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for HR processes and transactions.
- Lead and support HR projects, tracking milestones and communicating progress to stakeholders.
- Partner with Leave Administration and performance coaches to support associates on leave.
- Review and process Alternative Work Arrangement (AWA) requests.
- Support intern and seasonal employee processes.
- Analyze and report on HR metrics such as engagement survey results and turnover trends.
- Conduct offboarding activities, including exit interviews and system terminations.
- Administer tasks in Workday and ensure data integrity.
- Assist with HR integration activities for acquisitions, including welcome meetings and handbook reviews.
- Collaborate with HR Business Advisors on performance management and employee relations matters.
- Contribute to the delivery of HR programs and initiatives across the firm.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge skills and abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.1+ years of experience in an HR role.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to change.Advanced Excel skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience with HRIS systems (Workday strongly preferred).Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and recommend solutions.Tiffany Farnsworth, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
