Educate participants on proper swim techniques promote swimmer safety and teach new skills.Adapt teaching approaches to age experience and ability of participants to meet level objectives.Instruct swimming lessons in accordance with department guidelines prepare lesson plans accordingly maintain reports and support members and program participants in achieving their goals.Demonstrate professionalism in all forms of communications such as in-person and emails.Ability to be punctual organized approachable and energetic.Preferred : previous coaching our swim instruction experience.Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
Must be at least 16 years old (Dont meet the age requirement! Email us to inquire about our junior swim instructor program).A minimum of 15 hours of weekly availability. Must be available to work mornings evenings and weekends.Attend required staff meetings and training.Mandatory training will be scheduled in early June before the start of the program session.
Ability to remain calm in emergencies communicating quickly and effectively provide emergency response.Ability to swim and knows all four competitive swim strokes (freestyle backstroke breaststroke and butterfly).Not Sure You Meet All the Qualifications
