The unit contains 21 beds, with a patient ratio of 2-3 RNs for 21 patients, supported by 2 Mental Health Technicians and 1 Psych Caregiver. The unit treats acute psychiatric patients. Equipment includes standard nursing tools. The Electronic Medical Record system used is Cerner. Candidates should excel at de-escalation. Dress code includes wearing Galaxy Blue scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes black or galaxy blue bottoms. Experience with CPI and Cerner is preferred. The facility provides a full continuum of behavioral health and substance use services.
