ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Meridian, Idaho.

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour shifts with various start times including 7 : 30 AM-8 : 00 PM, 10 : 00 AM-10 : 30 PM, 11 : 30 AM-12 : 00 AM, 1 : 30 PM-2 : 00 AM, 3 : 30 PM-4 : 00 AM, and 7 : 30 PM-8 : 00 AM
  • Mixed shift scheduling based on unit needs with no block schedule
  • Minimum 4 Saturday / Sunday shifts required in 6-week period (2 weekends total)
  • Holiday shifts as needed
  • No call or standby requirements
  • Nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 4-5
  • Must have minimum 2.5 years emergency department experience from larger urban hospital setting
  • Trauma experience preferred
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC
  • BSN degree required
  • Care for pediatric and adult patients with high acuity ESI level I conditions
  • Common diagnoses include stroke, STEMI, trauma, and abdominal pain
  • Administer common drips including Nicardipine, Propofol, Fentanyl, Norepinephrine, Nitroglycerin, Versed, and Precedex
  • Must read and interpret cardiac monitors using SpaceLabs equipment
  • May rarely float to other emergency departments within the health system
  • Professional scrubs required with no specific color requirements
  • One shift of unit-specific orientation following hospital and Epic training
  • Epic EpicCare Inpatient EMR charting system
  • Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility

    • Facility :

    This medical center operates a comprehensive 45-bed emergency department including specialized trauma, resuscitation, and cardiac rooms. The facility maintains Trauma Level IV designation with STEMI Level I and Stroke Level II capabilities, currently working toward Level III trauma certification. The emergency department treats approximately 170 patients daily and features separate triage areas, vertical treatment spaces for rapid assessment, and dedicated psychiatric rooms with security housed on-site 24 / 7. The facility provides advanced emergency care with respiratory therapy, radiology services, and comprehensive support staff including CNAs and patient care technicians.
