As a Security Professional - Industrial Location in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter potential security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. This position requires operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to foster a secure and welcoming environment. What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities while providing customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, seeking to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter and areas within the industrial and manufacturing environment, observing for any unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior within the facility.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain visible and approachable to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed in the industrial setting.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
