ABOUT THE ROLE

The Terminal Technician safely operates all equipment at the location used to load and unload rail cars, boats and / or trucks, ensuring order accuracy and prompt process of requests.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Assess risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities while utilizing proper PPE
• Carry out tasks related to loading / unloading material
• Maintain grounds, offices, yard etc.
• Perform walk-by inspections & checklists
• Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in various team activities
• Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment; assist with general mechanical maintenance
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Education : High School diploma or equivalent

Required Work Experience : 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
