Warehouse Associate

MANDATORY ASSESSMENT : Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling. This position requires the ability to operate various warehouse equipment and adhere to safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including picking and packing orders accurately. Assist in implementation of RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory movements. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing products within the warehouse. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and equipment operation. Maintain a clean workspace by following proper packaging procedures and disposing of materials appropriately. Participate in regular inventory audits to ensure compliance with company standards. You are capable of performing the physical tasks of a warehouse associate, including lifting up to 70 lbs. Experience Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in warehouse distribution practices. Knowledge of inventory management systems such as AS400 is a plus. Experience with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations is advantageous. Background in manufacturing or construction environments can be beneficial. Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes, including order picking and shipping & receiving tasks.
