Key Responsibilities : - Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers. - Execute fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside expert radiology providers. - Conduct US guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis with precision. - Educate patients on preparation and post-care for various radiology procedures. - Assist in fluoroscopically guided PICC placements. - Carry out C-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR, directly supporting surgical teams. - Ensure meticulous documentation for interpretation, reporting, and archiving of exams. - Maintain accurate distribution, billing, and archival records for all exams and procedures. - Retrieve written orders and necessary health information efficiently. - Engage in the monitoring and improvement of hospital quality indicators. - Mentor radiography students, new hires, and fellow radiology techs on essential techniques. Qualifications : - Graduate from a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent. - Valid Montana Radiology Technologist License. - Current ARRT certification (Radiological Technologist). - BLS certification from the American Heart Association within three months of hire. - Minimum of one year of radiology experience, which may include clinical internships. - Demonstrate advanced imaging techniques competency within six months.
