Reports To : Chef / Food & Beverage Manager
Job Summary :
The Lead Banquet Server is responsible for ensuring a smooth service all aspects of banquet service, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. They assist in coordinating with event organizers and ensure the efficient execution of service during the event. The Lead Banquet Server also resolves assist in guest inquiries or issues, monitors inventory, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Event Setup and Coordination :
- Assure that setup of banquet spaces, including table arrangements, decorations, and necessary AV equipment in accordance to the event's specification.
- Ensure that all event details, including menus and seating arrangements, are in line with the client's specifications.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure food and beverage are delivered in a timely manner.
- Serving Food and Beverage :
- Work with team of banquet servers, assigning tasks and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Help servers understand proper serving techniques, customer service standards, and health / safety procedures.
- Ensure service quality standards, including appearance, punctuality, and professionalism meets standards.
- Guest Service :
- Greet and interact with guests to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied with the service.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event to enhance guest experience.
- Service :
- Help F&B supervisors monitor service flow during the event, ensuring that food and beverages are served in a timely, organized manner.
- Monitor the progress of the event and make adjustments to service as necessary.
- Ensure proper serving etiquette is followed, including clearing dishes, replenishing drinks, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Post-Event Duties :
- Assist cleanup and resetting of banquet spaces after the event.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are properly stored and accounted for.
- Review and provide feedback on the event's execution, highlighting areas of improvement for future events.
- Inventory and Supplies Management :
- Assist in monitoring and managing banquet supplies, utensils, china and glassware.
- Coordinate with management to ensure adequate stock levels for upcoming events.
- Report any issues related to equipment or inventory to management.

Pay Scale : $10.60 - $20.49 / hour
