About The Position

Job Title : Special Care Nursery Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty.

License : Active nursing license required.

Certifications : Required BLS, NRP.

Must-Have : Experience in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Description :

The role involves providing care to neonates with medical and / or surgical problems.

Admissions will include infants born into the facility.

Requests for admissions and direct transfers from other facilities will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

The position requires familiarity with ophthalmic imaging systems, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes.

Winter holiday expectations include working one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve).
