Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is seeking a passionate Surgical Technologist I to become a vital part of our dedicated team, providing top-notch surgical care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Major Responsibilities :

Maintain a clean and safe environment for optimal patient care while utilizing aseptic surgical techniques.

Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures while anticipating the Surgeon's needs.

Set up operating rooms efficiently and ensure all equipment is in working order.

Assist in various surgical procedures as a Second Assistant when required.

Transport patients and maintain specialty carts ensuring all items are complete and sterile.

Additional Requirements :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Ability to lift and carry weights and work in a physically demanding environment.
