This position offers a 26-week assignment. Shifts will vary between days and mid shifts. Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in a long-term care setting. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses. Daily patient census may vary. The nurse will work alongside an interdisciplinary team for patient support. Travelers may be required to work on major holidays. Housing and a rental vehicle will be provided during the assignment. No pets are allowed in provided housing. Travelers must maintain cleanliness of housing upon departure. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are needed to operate the rental vehicle. The vehicle is for travel within town and not permitted beyond a specified radius. Candidates must be flexible with their schedules based on staffing needs. References from supervisory roles are required. Only RN applicants with a minimum of one year in Long Term Care will be considered. This opportunity is suitable for first-time travelers as well.
