Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's needs. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible security-related presence. Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols, following established protocols. Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as necessary regarding incidents or concerns. Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and / or credentials as required by site policies. Support emergency response activities, including guiding occupants and / or coordinating with first responders as needed. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed and accurate reports in accordance with Allied Universal standards. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
